UPCOMING COFFEEHOUSE CLOSURE

The Urban Garden will close at 2 PM on Thursday, the 14th of March, to allow for the set-up of the Rupert launch event.

Take-out coffee and cakes will be available via the terrace, and the last eat-in orders will be taken at 1:30 PM.

LEVEL UP YOUR PODCAST EDITING WITH JULIE-ANNA NEEDHAM

If you feel stuck with your audio editing, this is for you.

Perhaps you have already edited a podcast but are struggling to make it sound better.

On Wednesday, the 13th of March, podcast producer and presenter Julie-Anna Needham is running a free one-hour workshop in the first-floor meeting room to help you improve your audio editing skills.

Julie-Anna founded Decibel Podcasts, which aims to simplify podcasting for small business owners. She set up Decibel to help consultants, coaches and creatives learn the digital skills needed - and develop the confidence - to launch their own podcasts.

She aims to demystify the process and the tech through training, workshops, and working one-on-one with clients. She's launched numerous podcasts and is always testing the latest tools to make content creation easier.

She's the host of the international business podcast Dealcast. She produces branded podcasts, including Barclays' Mortgage Insider with Phil Spencer. She was a journalist and producer for BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 4, BBC Midlands Today and Sky News.

In aid of this year's Comic Relief, we're working with the team at Designmc on six new challenges, with one head-to-head challenge to win a £50 gift voucher at Mill Street.

This year's games will consist of two rounds – a first round of 6 (brand new) goofy challenges, with the top two scoring players going head-to-head with one final round challenge to win some lovely prizes!

The games are open to all Mill Street members and beyond - so if you think you've got what it takes to beat the Goofy Games – make a £5 donation today to enter the games (all proceeds go to Comic Relief).

*WEBSITE NEEDED - Whitnash Town FC has seen rapid growth in its junior section, nearly doubling in size in six months. A website is crucial to actively promote the club's community-focused ethos, attract sponsors, and inform the community about opportunities. The club aims to have the website ready by June/July 2024. Spark your interest? Fancy supporting the team?

*VIDEOGRAPHER NEEDED - 'Let's Talk About Loss' is part of a national group formed as a support network for 18-35-year-olds who have come together through grief. They are hosting a one-day 'Big Grief Meet' workshop and need support documenting the day.

*WEBSITE NEEDED - Young People First needs a website designer to make a website that's fresh and accessible. They already have their branding assets (logo/font/colours, etc.); they still need a website to place this on.

*SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST NEEDED - Young People First seeks a dynamic Social Media Strategist to spearhead their digital presence.

* HR SUPPORT NEEDED - Solihull Carers are in need of support with defining and implementing their own HR program. Topics include; advice around working hours and patterns, and the effects that this can have on other staff.

*WEBSITE SUPPORT NEEDED - Guardian Ballers needs a couple pages built on to their current website to showcase two new initiatives, 'Workplace Wellbeing' training and coaching.
